This was a fun one! An internet customer wanted to replace the acrylic domes of his remote controlled underwater video cameras with glass. We were able to provide domes with tooled, ground flanges from standard flask blanks; a very economical solution. Since the camera is centered in the dome, the optical distortion due to lensing at the air-glass-water interface is minimized. This one is on the ocean floor in Hawaii, watching manta rays.
