This request was described to us as a jacketed "pie plate", with an interior that is tapered for the easy removal of an ~8"diameter disc. Also, they wanted handles. With such a shallow construction, we proposed extending the jacket ports with heavy walled tubing to act as handles.
A simple cover was provided as well.
