Membrane Cell
The researchers are interested in testing various stretched states of a membrane and evaluate its performance, both uniaxial and biaxial. To that end they want to glue the membrane to the glass flanges directly, seal the cell and do the tests.
By-passing the usual oring teflon assembly requires adjustments.
