You are looking at the inside of an NW25 flange, were a novel electrode holder has been fabricated from a notched glass disc. The notches will be used to mount a flat electrode and will be wired through the hollow shaft of the holder. This allows for the electrode to be easily positioned in relationship to the membrane that is mounted on the face of the NW25 flange.
