Glassware for nanotechnology

Next >

Shown here is a purification vessel for work with nano-particles. This glassware is designed to use a Schott DN200 glass flange with our custom teflon base. A polypropylene filter membrane is seated on the base and an off-the-shelf clamp and o-ring holds it all in place. Suspended nanometer-scale particles are then settled onto the membrane and "washed" in place. The bottom side port drains from the center below the filter support ribs, and the drain port (shown with a stainless steel stub) is an NPT thread for convenient valving and/or connections.
